The Junior Club provides an opportunity for skaters to learn more advanced skills.  The advanced skills taught in the Junior club fall into three skating disciplines:

• Freestyle (jumps and spins)
• Dance (skating to fixed tempo music)
• Figures (tracing figure circles on the floor)

The Junior Club meets three days a week during our normal Club Time.  Members are expected to attend at least two of these sessions.  Club Time hours include:

• Mondays 4:00pm to 7:00pm
• Thursdays 4:30pm to 7:00pm
• Saturdays 9:00am to 11:00am 

Members of the Junior Club also get free admission to the Kid's Skate session on Saturday at 11:30am.

The Caln Skating Center provides a learning path that ranges from beginners who have never skated before through advanced skaters.  We offer a progressive lesson path that teaches students skills of increasing difficulty.  The typical lesson path for a beginner skater is:

• The free beginner group lesson offered every Saturday morning during the Kid's Skate session (11:30 am)
• Advanced Group lessons on Saturday from 11:00am to 11:30am and Monday (time TBD) (registration needed)
• Junior Club membership (see above)
• Senior Club membership (private lessons during Club Time).

We (the teachers at the Caln Skating Center) are dedicated to providing professional instruction of the highest caliber to all students. 

We have been teaching for 20 years and have taught students of all ages and skill levels from beginners through National Champions. 

It is our goal to provide a safe and fun environment for all students aspiring to learning skating skills at all levels.
